Otter Co-op is now accepting applications for a Part-Time Bartender for our Highwayman Pub located in South Surrey , BC. Who we are: Otter Co-op is a diverse and growing organization, serving the Lower Mainland, Fraser Valley and BC Interior since 1922. With over 100 years in business and over 1000 in our team, we are proud to be a locally owned and community minded member of the neighbourhoods we live, work and play in. We operate three food and shop stores (including one with a fashion and hardware department), thirty-one Angry Otter liquor stores, two feed mills, two bulk petroleum facilities, the Angry Otter Tap & Forno and Brewery in North Vancouver, the Highwayman Pub in Abbotsford, the Highwayman pub in South Surrey and twenty-five gas station/convenience stores. What you’ll do: Reporting to the General Manager, responsibilities for this position include the following: Providing a positive and friendly guest experience. Taking beverage orders from customers or servers and serving drinks as requested. Keeping a well-stocked bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws and glassware. Maintain a positive attitude while providing an exemplary guest experience. Cleaning, restocking and ensuring that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for the next shift. Navigate and operate the POS System. Contribute to the team in living the corporate Values of Integrity, Community and Excellence. Perform other duties as assigned.
