We are currently looking for an experienced Occupational Therapist - Young People Mental Health, who can provide overall support for the clinical leadership of the service. This post is based in Potters Bar, which is easily accessible via public transport. About the role: As an Occupational Therapist , you will be working in a clinical and service development capacity to ensure the service to patients is planned, delivered and evaluated in line with evidence-based practice. Working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to help create and maintain a robust service. Your main responsibilities as an Occupational Therapist: - Maintaining evaluation records of performance for individual patients, providing verbal or written data for ward rounds, backssment review meetings and actively participate in the clinical discussion of service users needs, in the development of care plans - Contributing towards mental health backssments contributing to service users recovery at Potters Bar Clinic - Liaising closely with other members of the clinical team, demonstrating a commitment to effective teamwork and people-focused care - Identifying and actioning relevant referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies - Attending and actively.
