Examines each individual and developsa plan using treatment techniques to promote the ability to move, reduce pain,restore function, and prevent disability. Coordinates,supervises, and delegates to supportive staff including Physical TherapistAssistant and Rehab aide. Communicates the organization s vision within rehabteam and interactions with patients; aligns work efforts to support itsfulfillment. Performs other duties as assignedat the direction of the Rehabilitation Manager or Director.PRACTICE STANDARDS/ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Incorporatesappropriate assessment and intervention and/or technical skills in allinteractions and/or delivery of patient care. Safety and protection; assessment;intervention/technical skills; evaluation; and equipment use/management. Communicates with patients, team members, and management inan accurate, timely manner. Talks with, listensto patients/team members; Reports pertinent, concise information; complete,timely charting; computer charting/ordering; protects confidentiality ofpatient/colleagues.
