The Role The Material Handler II - Federal (Warehouse) is responsible for receiving, tracking, shipping and documenting materials for various customers programs. The Main Responsibilities Unpacks and checks goods received against purchase orders or invoices Maintains accurate records of received goods and rejects unsatisfactory items Must be flexible to work on call and or shift differential schedules May operate motorized and non-motorized material handling equipment (fork-lifts, pallet jacks, etc) Provide excellent customer service Maintains warehouse and inventory of equipment and equipment spares Handles and maintains flow of materials and products in manufacturing areas according to established guidelines What We Look For in a Candidate Preferred Qualifications: High School degree or GED certificate 1 year previous Logistics and Warehouse experience Security Requirements: US Citizenship required Must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information (applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation) Compensation The starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.
