JOB RESPONSIBILITIES- Speech Language Pathologist - NICU SPEECH PATH - NICU Full-Time All Speech Language Pathologist candidates for the NICU will have the following job responsibilities: You will conduct a subjective assessment of assigned patient's speech language abilities during spontaneous conversation. You will administer objective tests to assess patient's communication assets and liabilities. You will structure and implement individualized patient program to improve communication abilities. You will evaluate patient regularly during treatment and adjust program as needed to maximize patient progress. You will document progress in patient's chart. You will complete notes, charges, discharge notes and patient communication. You will consult with Program Director and Rehab Physician/Medical Director regarding pre-screen assessments and physician consultations to determine appropriate placement of potential patients. JOB QUALIFICATIONS- Speech Language Pathologist SPEECH PATH Full-Time All Speech Language Pathologist candidates must meet the following minimum job qualifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date Speech Pathologist Bachelors Degree NICU experience required MUST HAVE AT LEAST min 3-5 YRs OF SLP NICU EXP IN ACUTE CARE SETTING General Comments Additional Information Compensation : $36.62- $40.82- $48.93 based on years of exp
