METCOR/LSI has a need for a Content Developer to create and maintain learning content for federal employees. The Content Developer position is a full-time, remote role, offering a long-term opportunity for internal growth within an established organization. METCOR/LSI maintains a drug-free work environment. All positions require the ability to pass a background investigation conducted by a federal government agency and a drug test. US citizenship is required. Duties and Responsibilities in the Content Developer role include, but are not limited to: Supporting the design and delivery of virtual instructor-led training (VILT) sessions Preparing training plans Assisting in the development and maintenance of any instructor/facilitator documentation, target audience training materials and performance support tools Conducting business process reviews with clients to understand current workflows Assessing and evaluate training programs and identify areas for improvement Developing content based on provided storyboards and participation in review events Supporting course deployment and administration in various learning management systems (LMS) Required Skills and Abilities for the Content Developer role include: 1+ years of experience developing training materials on a variety of topics Proficiency in e-Learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Camtasia and other development technologies Experience with the ADDIE process of Instructional Design Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office with emphasis on Word, PowerPoint, and Excel Knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines for creating inclusive learning experiences Able to multitask in a fast-paced work environment Effective communication skills, both written and verbal Analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail Champion of life-long learning and self-development Education for the Content Developer role: Bachelor's degree in a related field required (Instructional Design, Education, or English preferred) Physical Requirements of the Content Developer role: Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times Compensation $60,000 - $80,000 annually About the Company METCOR/LSI is a certified veteran-owned small business with a focus on developing and delivering learning solutions that exceed customer expectations.
