Primary Responsibilities In the role of Design Coordinator, we'll count on you to: --- Work alongside Sr. Designers and Design Principals in the conception, development, and execution of Architectural Designs of projects of multiple scales and typologies, including Healthcare, Education & Science, and Federal Architecture --- Assist Design Leaders with Project Marketing Pursuits including supporting design aspects of proposals, concept designs, and imagery --- Perform architectural design assignments (both digitally and by hand) with only general instruction from the Design Principal and/or Project Architect regarding the expected result --- Develop design studies, massings, programmatic analysis, design documents and presentations for internal and external client use --- Assist Project Architects, other Architectural Project Coordinators or Technicians as needed, and take responsibility for work in all phases of the architectural proce --- Perform other duties as needed Qualifications Required Qualifications --- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field --- Must possess credentials to obtain future registration --- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project) --- Desire to pursue growth opportunities and eventually obtain registration --- Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skill --- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skill --- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and proce --- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills & desire to work with Design leaders in a dynamic studio environment --- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must Preferred Qualifications --- Experience in the areas of healthcare, educational, civic, science and research facilitie --- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED desired but not required --- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and 3-D Studio Max strongly preferred. --- Rhino and Grasshopper experience --- Preference given to local candidate Why HDR At HDR, we know work isn't only about who you work for it's also about what you do and how you do it.
