2nd Shift Paint Booth Technician

BASIC FUNCTION: This position will require a strong work ethic and attention to detail. The candidate must be able to work well in a team-oriented environment, but also work independently. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor paint line operations and robots. Perform paint line preventive maintenance inspections and adjust robots as required. Perform setups troubleshooting, programming, and file backups. Actively participate and encourage daily improvements to reduce waste in all areas. Meet daily production targets to include schedule, shipment, and cost. Maintain and support 5S initiatives throughout the facility. Drive a safe culture by adhering to all safety rules, supporting safety initiatives, and communicating opportunities for improvement. Maintain a clean and organized work area, creating a safe working environment in the paint department. Observe and assist in enforcement of safety rules and regulations. Other duties as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2 – 3 Years of automotive experience is preferred.
