A supportive and growth-oriented culture Job Summary: The Implementation Business Analyst Team Lead role is an integral part of the Technology Implementation Team at Clarity and has the important responsibility of providing excellent results for external client application implementation and change requests. The Implementation Business Analyst Team Lead will interact daily with other Implementation Business Analysts, Software Engineers, Quality Assurance Analysts, Client Experience Team, and Account Management members. Significant relationship building with clients during implementation and maintenance projects is the earmark of Clarity’s success and a requirement of the business analyst role. The Implementation Business Analyst Team Lead reports to the Director, Technology Implementation. Essential Functions Monitor and enhance the effectiveness of the Implementation Business Analyst process. Identify problems and implement effective solutions to improve the analysis process and project tracking workflow for Client Projects. Educate and train the Implementation Business Analysts in the proper use of Clarity framework. Monitor the effectiveness of direct reports. Mentor, train and lead your direct reports in Clarity’s mission of “…providing unmatched service; all the time, no exceptions…” Define and monitor team and individual goals that are in line with departmental and company-wide goals. Identify training and documentation needs to support the Client Maintenance Business Analysts team. Lead and Implement Client Facing projects as assigned by Management with a focus on high priority Implementations and Accelerated Member Engagement. Analyze and translate client applications and business logic with an end goal of clean implementation, maintenance changes, conforming with internal system processing frameworks. Contribute to business process analysis and design, deployment planning and execution, and training development and delivery activities. Follow the Clarity Product Development Lifecycle and ensure all active projects are working within the PDLC framework. Provide scheduled updates to the Management regarding the health check for Client facing projects (includes identifying risks for schedule, scope, customer satisfaction and quality). Other duties as assigned by management. Education Required Four-year college degree preferably in computer science, information systems or life sciences. Knowledge & Experience 5+ years hands on experience with complex systems. 5+ years of experience with standard software development lifecycle methodologies. Demonstrated ability to document business and technical specifications that do not require extensive developer interpretation. Strong attention to technical detail. Strong troubleshooting skills and a tenacious approach to issue resolution. Strong and effective communication to both business and technical resources. Ability to excel in a dynamic, high growth environment. Experience with defining Graphical User Interface rules and behavior. Strong competency with standard MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and similar business tools. SQL experience and experience with relational database structures and data analysis. Personal Attributes Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Adept stress tolerance and conflict management. Physical Demands • Must be able to sit at a desk 80 percent of the time. • Must be able to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc. • Must be able to operate a computer and other office products (i.e., a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer). • Must be able to frequently communicate via telephone.
