Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Day Surgery Discipline: RN Duration: Ongoing 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Staff Registered Nurse Day Surgery · Patient Population: Heart, Lung, and Vascular · Number of Beds: 28 · Department Specifics: Unit is open from 0, Monday through Friday. · Pre-op hours are 0 with various shifts and no call requirements. · Required: Must have minimum 2 years (prefer 3 years) of recent, full-time experience in Cardiovascular PCU and Cardiac Acute Care/ICU, preferably in Perioperative Care. Your responsibilities will involve assessing patients, identifying nursing diagnoses for health issues, and developing personalized care plans. You will also assess patient responses regularly. Your contributions will help patients navigate healthcare safely by understanding their needs and the healthcare system. This will prevent complications and delays. Delegating tasks to other staff will be based on Texas nursing laws, patient conditions, and staff skills.
