Position Description Job Summary CertainTeed is hiring CNC Operators!We are a growing Company building our Wood Center of Excellence for our wood ceilings offerings.Hours: 3:30pm -12am, OT as needed, Monday-FridaySalary: $19.00 - $22.00 an hour Essential Duties: The position, reports directly to Operations and produces machined wood panels by setting up and operating a CNC machine. Focus includes: Reading/interpreting blueprint designs of product to customer specification Sets up router to manufacture arts; loads feed mechanism by lifting stock into position Verifies settings by measuring positions, first run part and sample work pieces. Makes tooling adjustments to ensure parts are meeting quantity and quality requirements Periodically checks CNC machine to ensure positioning of tooling stays perfectly aligned Maintains equipment by performing routine autonomous maintenance Benefits: We provide unique options to fit your unique lives! Ability to work in a team-based environment with little or no supervision Methodical/analytical problem-solving skills Strong organizational/time management skills Attention to detail 2 year technical degree in Machine Technology or comparable degree preferred Additional Description Must be capable of wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) necessary to comply with government and company safety standards Job includes tasks that require bending, lifting materials weighing up to 50 lbs., twisting, gripping, and stair climbing Company Summary CertainTeed is North America's leading brand of exterior and interior building products, including roofing, siding, windows, fence, decking, railing, trim, foundations, pipe, insulation, gypsum, ceilings, and access covers.
