The candidate will work on matters involving business tort, contract litigation, and appellate brief research and drafting, representing financial institutions, developers, employers, corporations, and local government entities. Duties:Handle litigation matters involving business tort, contract litigation, and appellate brief research and drafting.Review and analyze a myriad of legal issues.Draft complaints, manage discovery, conduct depositions, and attend hearings.Maintain membership in the Florida Bar in good standing.Demonstrate exceptional research and writing skills.Exhibit a strong work ethic and a desire for professional development.Work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently while using sound judgment in decision-making.Manage relationships with clients and colleagues. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Florida Bar in good standing.4+ years of litigation experience.Exceptional research and writing skills.Strong work ethic and desire for professional development.Ability to work well under deadlines in a changing environment.Ability to manage relationships with clients and colleagues. Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications:Member of the Florida Bar in good standing. Skills:Litigation experience, particularly in business tort and contract litigation.Proficient in appellate brief research and drafting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent research and writing abilities.Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.Sound judgment in decision-making.Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage relationships with clients and colleagues. Law offices are based across Ohio and Florida. Additional law offices are located in Chicago, New York and Washington, D.C. The firm was established in 1876.
