Accounting Manager

Volt is immediately hiring for an Accounting Manager in Erie, PA. As an Accounting Manager, you will: Oversee and manage general accounting functions, including but not limited to cash, accounts receivable, debt Be responsible for cash/treasury management including daily cash reporting, bank reconciliations, weekly reporting of cash flows Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable departments Provide accurate reports and analysis on financial data and metrics such as cash forecasting, past due customers, accounts receivable and accounts payable aging and reports of other debits and credits associated to either department Maintain intercompany balances and reconcile intercompany activity Assist with month end close and complete general ledger account reconciliations Work with external auditors during US GAAP audit Supervise a current staff of 2 senior accountants, 2 accounts receivable employees and 3 accounts payable employees Train, develop, and appraise employee performance while developing staff to ensure growth within existing roles and development for future rolesThis is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity. The ideal candidate will have the following experience: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Masters degree and/or CPA license preferred 5+ years of relative accounting experience within manufacturing 5+ years of management/supervisor experience Thorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable, billing, payables Proficient with JD Edwards or another ERP platform Experience with - FCCS, AP Express, ARCS, or Power BI is preferred, not mandatory Pay rate: $90,000 - $110,000/year*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
