Title ClerkOptimum RV, a growing full-service RV Dealer, is seeking a Title Clerk to work with our Accounting office.Summary:The Title Clerk is responsible for processing vehicle titles using the respective states/agencies guidelines in a timely and accurate manner to assure a high level of customer satisfaction and keep the dealership running smoothly. We are a high-volume dealership, so strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills are of the utmost importance. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in out of state tilting.Responsibilities:Processes all new and used vehicles for registration in the state in which they will be titled.Prepares tax and title documents.Submits all legal transfer work to the Department of Motor Vehicles.Verifies that funds have been collected and the correct lienholder paid off before processing title applications.Checks for accuracy in the application and ensures that all information is complete.Maintains a system to verify out-of-state titles.Compiles and maintains a complete list of all outstanding title work. Reports to management on the status of any missing or problem titles and provides a current list of outstanding titles to the comptroller at the end of month.Prepares stock cards for new and used vehicles.Processes yearly renewal of dealer tags in conjunction with comptroller.Stays abreast of title regulations.All other responsibilities as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:1 year previous Dealership Title Clerk ExperienceFlorida state titlingHigh School Diploma or GEDEssential Characteristics: RELIABLE We do what we say we're going to do, when we say we're going to do it... every time.
