Job Summary This position is responsible to assist the Public Works Department - Facilities Division with the planning and coordination of maintenance/service and repair all of city-owned Heating and Cooling equipment. The work is performed under the direction of the Internal Services Supervisor and Facilities Foreman. Minimum Required Qualifications Vocational diploma in HVAC. Minimum of (3) years of HVAC Install experience; both retro-fit and new construction Any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record for eligibility of City coverage. Preferred Qualifications EPA Universal certification preferred. Knowledge and understanding of geothermal well systems. Please also refer to the Job Description for a complete description of the position. Salary & Benefits The position is a full time, non-exempt/hourly position. The pay rate will be $34.36 per hour (~$71,468.80 annually) which is anticipated to increase retroactively to 5/1/2024 following contract negotiations with Local 150 for a successor contract.
