About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in multi-channel leads campaign and offer management product team within Consumer Lending technology team. In this role, you will: Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impactAct as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplinesDesign, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programsReview and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factorsMake decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiativesCollaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goalsLead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor Required Qualifications: 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education2 years of solution design for microservices offer management domain experience2 years of Java engineering experience2 years of .Net developer experience2 years of C# experience Desired Qualifications: 2 years of Kafka messaging queue experience2 years of Relational database design experience - ORACLE, Postgres, Yugabyte or SQL ServerNo SQL database design (such as MongoDB) experienceRedis or other "in memory" system design expeienceHands-on experience with building microservices using REST and SOAP/XMLLegacy application conversion to modernize stack - Monolithic to Microservice conversion experience.Net to Java conversion project background experienceApache Camel integrations experienceNetwork Data Mover (NDM) for file transfer experience Job Expectations: 25% TravelThis position offers a hybrid work schedule Posting End Date: 5 May 2024 *Job posting may come down early due to volume of applicants.
