Be the master of your own projects, as you will be buying, bidding, and building your own projects. This contractor is in downtown Milwaukee, and they specialize in providing clients with a consultative approach to their construction needs.Overview of the contractor: Culture: Collaborative work team and environment with strong mentor-ship Project Portfolio: Commercial and light industrial Feel: Family-feel, truly everyone has each others back and is invested in one another's success Growth Track: Robust growth track, the current general superintendent came up from the trades Work-flow: No micromanagement project managers run their jobs Self-preform: Concrete and carpentry Backlog: Pipeline into 2025 Description Plan, execute, and monitor all phases of the construction project life-cycle, including design, procurement, construction, and closeout. Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure project milestones are achieved. Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project requirements are met. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Prepare and present project reports, including status updates, financial analysis, and risk assessments, to stakeholders and senior management. Manage and mentor project teams, providing guidance, support, and motivation to achieve project objectives. Proactively identify and mitigate project risks, troubleshoot issues, and implement corrective actions as necessary. Foster positive relationships with clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business opportunities. Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to drive continuous improvement in project management processes. Profile Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, preferably with commercial and industrial projects. Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations. Proficient in project management software and tools. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
