As part of our dedicated team, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at Western Horizons Care Center, you'll play a crucial role in providing essential daily care and support to our residents. Your commitment to excellence and compassion will enhance the quality of life for those entrusted to our care.Responsibilities- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes to the nursing team.- Support residents with mobility, transfers, and positioning to promote comfort and prevent complications.- Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and hydration in accordance with residents' dietary needs and preferences.- Foster a supportive and engaging environment for residents, promoting social interaction and participation in recreational activities.- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring infection control protocols are followed at all times.- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families, fostering a sense of community and belonging.Qualifications:- High school diploma or equivalent.- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification program.- Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of North Dakota.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- Empathetic and patient-centered approach to resident care.- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.- Basic knowledge of long-term care principles and practices.If you're passionate about providing compassionate care to seniors and thrive in a supportive, team-oriented environment, we invite you to apply for the Certified Nursing Assistant position at West River Long-Term Care Facility.
