The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of relevant experience, strong academic credentials, and exceptional communication and research abilities.Duties:Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in land use and commercial real estate transactions, primarily within the wine industry practice.Handle various aspects of winery and vineyard development, expansions, acquisitions, land use, title review, and financings.Conduct legal research, analyze findings, and provide insightful recommendations to clients.Draft and review legal documents, contracts, agreements, and other relevant materials.Represent clients in negotiations, mediation, and other legal proceedings as necessary.Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends impacting land use and real estate transactions in the wine industry.Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.4-7 years of experience practicing law with a focus on land use and commercial real estate transactions.Experience specifically within the wine industry is highly desirable.Strong academic credentials with a proven track record of success.Excellent communication, negotiation, research, and writing skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Admission to the California State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.Skills:In-depth knowledge of land use and real estate laws, regulations, and practices.Proficiency in legal research tools and software.Strong negotiation and mediation skills.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.Attention to detail and accuracy in document drafting and review.
