The ideal candidate should have 2+ years of experience with patents and related complex technology litigation. A technical degree (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, chemistry, biology, biomedical engineering) is strongly preferred, along with significant experience handling substantive patent issues. The candidate must have the ability to learn underlying technology, superior written and oral communication skills, a desire for teamwork, and excellent academic credentials. The Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney will be a key member of the firm's legal team, specializing in handling complex technology litigation with a focus on patents. The role requires a candidate with 2+ years of experience, a technical degree, and expertise in addressing substantive patent issues. Strong written and oral communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and excellent academic credentials are essential for success in this role. Duties:Handle complex technology litigation with a focus on patents.Address substantive patent issues related to various technical fields.Conduct legal research and analysis on intellectual property matters.Draft and file legal documents, pleadings, and motions.Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals.Provide legal counsel on patent-related disputes.Work closely with technology experts to understand underlying technologies. Requirements:Juris Doctor degree from a reputable law school.Active Bar membership in the state of Minnesota.2+ years of experience with patents and related complex technology litigation.Technical degree (e.g., electrical engineering, computer science/engineering, chemistry, biology, biomedical engineering) strongly preferred.Significant experience handling substantive patent issues.Ability to learn underlying technology. Skills:2+ years of experience with patents and complex technology litigation.Strong legal research and analytical skills.Superior written and oral communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively in a team.Desire for teamwork and a collaborative mindset.Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.Knowledge of intellectual property laws and regulations.
