Practice Area: Employment Law - Litigation Employer Defense,Employment Law - General, Job Type: Attorney, Firm Type: Law Firm, Experience: 2 Years, A law firm in Washington DC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Attorney with a strong background in employment defense litigation and/or traditional labor law. The ideal candidate should possess excellent academic credentials, exceptional writing and analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team. Clerkship experience is preferred but not mandatory. Duties:Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies.Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.Represent clients in various legal proceedings such as hearings and trials.Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients on employment and labor law matters.Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies. Requirements:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the Washington DC Bar or eligibility for admission.Minimum of 2 years of experience in employment or other complex litigation.Strong understanding of employment defense litigation and/or traditional labor law.Excellent academic credentials with a focus on legal writing and analysis. Skills:Exceptional legal research and analytical skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work efficiently and collaboratively within a team.Attention to detail and organizational skills.Proficiency in legal drafting and document preparation.
