Lighting General Manager | Blingle! #159 Anticipated Start Date: May 2024 Starting Pay: $40,000-$60,000 Base Salary (Based on experience) + Uncapped Commission= Estimated first year take home $100,000+! About the Role This position is the heartbeat of our business, supporting both ownership and the Blingle! team. The General Manager will oversee daily operations and ensure productivity of Lighting Sales Specialists, and successful installation of our lighting projects. The ideal candidate for this key role will have the experience, expertise, management, and organizational skills to oversee both the day-to-day operations as well as contributing to the long-term growth and development of the company, ensuring the team is meeting our quality standards, following safety protocols, and providing exceptional customer service. The General Manager will coordinate their direct reports and other team members to guarantee a smooth-running business. The job location is in a multi-purpose warehouse with a fully equipped office. Responsibilities: · Oversee the daily operations.· Hire, train, and coach employees.· Lead a small but dynamic team of sales reps and installers.· Manage employees' work hours, schedule, and payroll.· Manage sub-contractor (installers) relationships.· Manage inventory, project schedules, work orders and payment.· Confirm accuracy of estimates.· Prepare project plans for work orders.· Be a leader and mentor to the team.· Make sure employees are well trained in their area of expertise.· Manages vehicles, trailers, and maintenance.· Oversees office operations including supply orders.· Proficient in company software and best practices.· Planning daily installation routes to maximize efficiency.· Ability to communicate with customers in a calm, professional manner.· Highly organized with superior attention to detail.· Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment while delivering quality outcomes. Occasional participation in local promotional activities to help grow the business.· Represent company within the local community. Position Type/Expected hours worked: · This is a full-time position, and primary hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. (flexible start/end times) with the potential for weekend hours. Regular, punctual, and consistent attendance is required. Requirements: · High School Diploma or GED required· Minimum of 4 years of experience in a lead, supervisory or management role required· Valid state driver’s license required· Strong ability to multi-task, stay organized, and communicate effectively · Ability to work a full time position as by determined by seasonal fluctuations · Positive attitude and professional demeanor at all times Preferred Qualifications: · Leadership/team management experience- Member of the International Landscape Lighting Institute- Association of Outdoor Lighting Professionals (AOLP)- Certified Low Voltage Lighting Technician (CLVT)- Certified Outdoor Lighting Designer (Cold)· Sales experience is a plus· Self-motivated and a team player· Demonstrated knowledge of landscape design, sales experience, electrical experience and holiday lighting experience· Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency Perks/Benefits: · Compensation has large growth potential · Autonomous environment · PTO · Holidays Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to: · Stand; walk; sit; twist; use hands to handle; reach with hands and arms; push; pull; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk and hear· Lift, move, and hold up to approximately 50 lbs· Must be able to work a full-time, flexible schedule with “on call availability” that may require local travel on short notice· Must be able to drive a motor vehicle (day and evenings) for extended time periodsThis job search function is performed on behalf of Blingle! an independently owned and operated company, and not Franchisor, HorsePower Brands.
