Givler Engineering has an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for civil engineering to work on one or more of the following areas: water resources management, dam construction, site development, or municipal projects. If you have a knack for designing in one or more of the above type projects, consider joining our team!As a professional civil engineer, you will play a critical role in the planning, designing, and execution of projects. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure the successful completion of projects.Responsibilities: Working with EITs and assisting in the direction of other technical staff to produce quality designs and plans. Performing civil engineering planning and analysis, detailing, and plan set production Project management responsibilities include task, budget, and schedule management, as well as client interaction. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, water resources engineering, or related field from an ABET university. Professional Engineer (PE) licensure in Texas Minimum 5 years of experience including experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D. As a Texas based company, must be familiar with state and local zoning ordinances, subdivision regulations, and other design criteria to independently formulate and present specific practical solutions to project design problems. Ability to work on several projects concurrently. Ability to efficiently utilize time in executing assigned tasks accurately, on schedule, and within the budget. Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills required to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and staff at all levels. Candidate must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy. Feel comfortable with asking questions if instructions require further explanation or clarification.
