Job Title: Cook 1 Location: Callaway Gardens, GA Job Summary: Callaway Gardens is seeking a skilled and experienced Cook 1 to prepare meals as ordered by guests and ensure the smooth operation of our kitchen. The Cook 1 will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness, and equipment safety, and adhering to food safety standards. Responsibilities: Prepare meals as ordered by guests Maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen Adhere to food safety standards and equipment safety Monitor food cost controls and food quality standards Operate different areas of the kitchen as required Assist with kitchen inventory management and ordering supplies Follow kitchen schedules and ensure timely preparation of meals Assist in training and supervising kitchen staff as needed Requirements: 2-3 years of experience as a Cook 1 Excellent knowledge of cooking methods, food preparation techniques, and kitchen equipment Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays Ability to lift at least 50lbs Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines Knowledge of food safety standards and equipment safety We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
