Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher Assistant to join our dynamic team. As a Teacher Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the lead teacher in implementing the Montessori curriculum and providing a nurturing environment for our students. Responsibilities: Assist the lead teacher in implementing the Montessori curriculum, including preparing materials and activities that promote hands-on learning and exploration. Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment where each child feels valued and respected. Provide individualized attention and guidance to students, assisting them in their learning journey and helping them develop independence and confidence. Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Collaborate with the lead teacher and other staff members to create engaging lesson plans and activities that meet the diverse needs of our students. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions they may have. Requirements: A passion for working with young children and a commitment to the Montessori philosophy. Previous experience working in a preschool or childcare setting is preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Minimum high school diploma: 90 hours or CDA credential or coursework is a plus. Benefits: Competitive salary commensurate with experience.
