Provide support for Linux systems running on Red Hat enterprise Linux. Activities includes troubleshooting, patching, backing up / restoring of VM’s, deploying new VM’s and working with application teams on Middleware support. Lead team of Junior admins in resolving system issuesTask Description:Linux Administrative activities include: Patching servers monthly or on as needed basis for vulnerabilities Resolve daily issues on Red Hat servers and escalate if assistance required Troubleshoot issues on Red Hat Identity Management servers Troubleshoot issues on Certificate and PKI infrastructure Must be available for 24x7 on call rotation Resolve help desk tickets Must be able to work with oversite to execute against a set of requirements Required skills/Level of Experience : Should have working knowledge of Red Hat Linux Ability to identify and troubleshoot and resolve tickets opened for routine tasks. Identify backup failures of VM’s and work with Backup admin to resolve the issues. Reset passwords, create accounts, Assign permission.
