I. General Summary: Serve as primary point of contact at Erlanger office for plant IT team members. Working with the plant IT leaders, establish overall IT best practices and KPIs. Coordinate the activities of team members, plant IT team leaders, consultants, and other personnel while maintaining and enhancing team morale and productivity.II. Essential Job Functions: A. Lead the development and management of plant IT operation strategies across the entire TBA organization. B. Work with TBA plant IT and Erlanger IT staff to ensure all activities are consistent with established TBA IT standards and expectations. C. Monitor and track issues and their resolution for all assigned areas of responsibility. Track cost and project milestones for all assigned initiatives to ensure each activity is completed on time and within budget.D. Work with plant IT, PC, and PE for all new programs to include budget estimates, roles and responsibilities, and task execution. Work with Program Management and Finance to ensure IT budget inclusion.E. Work with Engineering, business, and IT communities throughout the TBA GCs to identify opportunities for improvements to existing processes.F. Assemble and coordinate resources to design, construct, implement, monitor, report on, and maintain IT projects for the plants.G. Maintain a positive working relationship with customer users, IT technical staff and business/functional staff at all TBA affiliated companies.H. Engage TBA leadership in the development of TBA IT's portfolio including the selection of valuable programs and ensure projects deliver expected benefits.I. Work with departmental teams to establish global systems and infrastructure standards and strategies.J. Collect and compile data requested about plant IT for upper management.K. Investigate abnormal conditions, gain control of the situation, notify stakeholders, and expedite processes as necessary.L. Manage all assigned IT resources, machines and team members. M. Engage team members and provide leadership to assist in achieving stated targets/goals. Provide positive guidance and mentoring.N. Develop and maintain positive team member relations centered on mutual trust, dignity, respect, fairness, consistency, two-way communication, teamwork, and harmony.O. Provide direction and motivation to team members emphasizing quality, efficiency, productivity, cost reduction, safety and health, and morale.P. Ensure further development of team members through performance evaluation, development of training plans, feedback, coaching, and cascade training. Q. Ensure effective communication with all consulting resources.III. Minimum Qualifications/Requirements: Education: * Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience:* Greater than 8 years of relevant experience required. * 4 years of functional leadership as a supervisor or manager required.* Previous experience with plant IT operations and manufacturing systems is a plus.Personal/Technical Skills:* Thorough understanding and working knowledge of core IT technology/infrastructure functions.* Project management capability.* Strong attention to detail.* General business knowledge.* Flexibility in a changing environment.* Ability to coach, mentor, and evaluate others.* Hands-on, self-starter with a strong work ethic.* Ability to manage complex, long-term projects.* Able to think and plan both strategically and tactically.* Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision.* Able to work in a fast paced, multicultural work environment. * Able to work effectively and collaboratively in a team environment.* Ability to manage projects to completion with a limited support staff.* Strong presentation skills with ability to influence executive decisions.* Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of the organization.* Active listener with excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.* Ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment.* Ability to interact with and work well with individuals from multiple departments and locations.* Strong organizational and planning skills and capability of managing multiple tasks with tight deadlines.* Skill in collecting and analyzing complex data, evaluating information and systems, and drawing logical conclusions.Language Skills:* Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.* Japanese or Spanish would be helpful, but are not required.Computer/Software:* Solid understanding of information systems and their effect on processes and controls. * Solid working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, Outlook, Internet, Oracle, etc.).IV. Work Environment/Conditions:Office: Open Office Environment, moderate noise level.Plant: N/ATravel: Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.V. Physical Demands:Ability to sit and work on a computer for extensive periods of time is required. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is required to talk, see, and hear.
