Then we have the role for you - we currently have exciting opportunities available for Permanent Manufacturing Team Members! These opportunities are only being advertised internal and external to Barrow Mill! The MTM role operates and sustains the core converting and paper making manufacturing assets within our process, and you will play a key part in optimising the overall production performance of the site. About you In Barrow Mill safety comes first and you will be responsible for ensuring that safety and environmental standards are not only observed but improved upon. You will need an understanding of emergency procedures and follow the safe operating procedures and work instructions whilst maintaining our 3 safety obligations. You’ll also utilise our site systems to report unsafe conditions. You will be able to develop diagnostic skills and use your corrective expertise to ensure rapid resolution of problems and ensure that you carry out your role in line with documented quality systems and procedures. Your communication style will allow you to provide effective shift handovers and network with wider teams to develop an understanding of site and business priorities. Experience of operating high-speed technology and advanced manufacturing equipment would be needed along with knowledge of manufacturing operations. You will monitor performance of your asset to optimise productivity and feed this into ensuring operational records are completed accurately and on time. Contributing.
