About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineering Senior Manager (Global Markets Operations Technology) as part of the Wholesale Operations Technology (WOT) Organization. This role will be accountable for the Wells Fargo Broadridge technology relationship. This role will work closely with the CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) Operations team, Broadridge, and their leadership team to ensure the strategy and execution of their work aligns with Wells Fargo's long-term vision. Critical to this role will be a deep understanding of trade, securities and settlement data and its usage throughout the firm. Working with partners in CIB (Corporate and Investment Banking) technology this role will be our key contributor into the data strategy for this vendor and all data needs within CIB Operations. This role provides the right leader with the opportunity to be involved in the data strategy for back-office modernization across Wholesale Operations. In addition to participation in the data strategy, and the day-to-day activity with their team, this individual will be a key contributor into other strategic imperatives across Wholesale Operations technology such as cloud migration, and our API first strategy. In this role, you will: Manage, coach, and develop a team or teams of experienced engineers and engineering managers in roles with moderate complexity and risk, responsible for building high quality capabilities with modern technologyEnsure adherence to the Banking Platform Architecture, and meeting non-functional requirements with each releasePartner with, engage and influence architects and experienced engineers to incorporate Wells Fargo Technology technical strategies, while understanding next generation domain architecture and enable application migration paths to target architecture; for example cloud readiness, application modernization, data strategyFunction as the technical representative for the product during cross-team collaborative efforts and planningIdentify and recommend opportunities for driving escalated resolution of technology roadblocks including code, build and deployment while also managing overall software development cycle and security standardsDetermine appropriate strategy and actions to act as an escalation partner for scrum masters and the teams to meet moderate to high risk deliverables and help remove impediments, obstacles, and friction while encouraging constant learning, experimentation, and continual improvementBuild engineering skills side-by-side in the codebase, conduct peer reviews to evaluate quality and solution alignment to technical direction, and guide design, as neededInterpret, develop and ensure security, stability, and scalability within functions of technology with moderate complexity, as well as identify, manage and mitigate technology and enterprise riskCollaborate with, partner with and influence Product Managers/Product Owners to drive user satisfaction, influence technology requirements and priorities in the product roadmap, promote innovative and intelligent solutions, generate corporate value and articulate technical strategy while being a solid advocate of agile and DevOps practicesInteract directly with third party vendors and technology service providersManage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in technology engineeringHire, build and guide a culture of talent development to have the skills required to effectively design and deliver innovative solutions for product areas and products to meet business objectives and strategy, as well as conduct performance management for engineers and managers Required Qualifications: 6+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education3+ years strong Knowledge of settlement/clearing/confirmations and accounting3+ years knowledge of Securities, Futures and Derivative trade processing3+ years of Management experience3+ years of Corporate and Investment Banking3+ years of data architecture exposure, Market Data Models3+ years working with Vendors and Internal Teams in Managing upstream and Downstream Data3+ years of exposure to modern Data Solutions Desired Qualifications: Experience with Books and Records Systems such as Broadridge or BetaCloud experience Strong communication skills Job Expectations: This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.This position offers a hybrid work schedule.Relocation assistance is not available for this positionAbility to work across many teams and time zonesAbility to travel up to 5% of the time Locations 150 E 42nd St. - New York, NY 10017300 S Brevard Street, Charlotte, NC 28202100 Fidelity Plz. - North Brunswick, NJ 08902 Pay Range $144,400.00 - $300,000.00 Benefits Wells Fargo provides all eligible full- and part-time employees with a comprehensive set of benefits designed to protect their physical and financial health and to help them make the most of their financial future.
