The pay rate is $22.50. Job Summary: The Material Handler will support the departments. The material handler is responsible for operating a forklift to unload the materials and moving the materials to the appropriate department. What You'll Do: Maintain and update account of stock and inventory. Maintain and operate warehouse equipment to ensure safety and efficiency. Participate in the loading and unloading of materials; ensure materials are counted and inspected. Participate in the distribution of materials to the appropriate job or personnel. Wear the proper safety equipment.Requirements What You'll Need: 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment. Minimum 18 years of age Ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time Must be able to work in a non-airconditioned environment Must be able to work flexible hours (required overtime and Saturdays) Ability to read and interpret documents, including but not limited to safety rules, procedures manual and policy manual. Strong interpersonal communication skills to effectively interact with Department Supervisor, Lead, Coworkers and other personnel. Demonstrated ability to solve problems in a practical, methodical way while working with a sense of urgency. Able to read and follow a written set of procedures.
