Job Description: Job Title: Traffic control supervisor Location: 5499 203 Street #100, Langley, BC V3A 1W1Wage - $29/hour for 40 hours per week along with 4% vacation pay Number of Positions-2Employment type – Permanent, full-time Start date: As soon as possible Job Requirements: Education: Completion of secondary school is required Experience: 1-2 Year of work experience in same field. Language: English Job Duties: • Ensure all the necessary road traffic control equipment is placed on road properly and supervising the traffic control process. • Supervising the traffic control persons and providing necessary instructions to make sure the smooth flow of traffic. • Ensure compliance with policies, procedures for safety and security, standards and regulations in force and participate in their improvement• Resolve various problems and related complaints and implement corrective measures and process improvements• Train workers in job duties• Requisition supplies and materials• Ensure smooth operation of computer systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work• May conduct performance reviews of supervised workers• May perform the same duties as workers supervised.
