We are a very well-known automotive dealership with a great reputation in the Lower Mainland of Greater Vancouver in British Columbia for car sales and service for more than 30 consecutive years. We’re looking to hire: Position: Motor vehicle diesel engine mechanic2021 version National Occupation Classification (NOC): 72410Job duties: • Inspect and test mechanical units, such as diesel engines, axles and brake systems, to locate faults and malfunctions• Diagnose faults or malfunctions and confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit• Repair or replace mechanical units or components using hand and power tools• Test and adjust units to specifications for proper performance• Make specialized orders for the spare parts• Complete reports to record problems and work performed. Terms of Employment: Full time (40 HOUR/WEEK) – Permanent Start Date: As soon as possible Education: Completion of Secondary School Language of Work: English Wage: $34.00/hour Location:2595 BARNET HWY COQUITLAM, BC V3E 1K9 Canada Experience & Skills Requirements:1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
