Layer Zero Labs Canada Inc. located at 999 West Hastings Street, Vancouver, BC, V6C 2W2, is currently recruiting one (1) product designer to join the team. Revolutionizing the crypto-currency space, Layer Zero’s vision is to create a community of cross-chain developers, building d Apps that are no longer constrained by individual blockchain capabilities. With Layer Zero's simple, generic messaging protocol, builders will develop cross-chain d Apps designed to unify the power of individual blockchains. We have built and launched the first d App, Stargate, a fully composable native asset bridge that will allow users to swap one asset to another securely and without additional fees. This is a full-time, permanent position starting as soon as possible. The position requires a minimum of 40 hours of work per week, offering a salary range between $100,000 to $150,000 per annum, plus bonuses and benefits including medical, vision and dental as well as company laptop. The successful candidate MUST have at least 3-5 years of experience in UI/UX design for web, desktop and mobile applications. Responsibilities: • Oversee the maintenance, new feature proposals and leading the development of the interactive elements, sequences and experience of the user within Layer Zero’s system. • Design major features from conceptualization to detailed design specifications. Deliver high-level and detailed mockups and prototypes and present design concepts and solutions for the design system. • Communicate the design system’s mission and process to support engineers and other departments focused on building the design system. • Document and review design system's documentation quality, consistency, and usefulness• Define and clarify scope to deliver usable, scalable, and accessible functionalities• Resolve priorities and maintain a backlog of UI components that align with product’s roadmap• Monitor task progress of design, development, and documentation across team members•.
