As part of the ONxpress consortium, Alstom is proudly working to transform the collective mobility of the Greater Toronto and Hamilton areas (GTHA) through the On-Corridor Works project, and we are hiring for hundreds of roles. The GO Expansion scope : new electric locomotives, fleet upgrades, train control systems, network electrification, signalling, telecommunications and digital systems, maintenance, and much more. Objective Alstom is seeking a Risk Engineer/ Coordinator. This individual will be responsible to identify risks and opportunities of the Project by analyzing contract and project documents and to maintain a risk register that tracks overall progress and the accomplishment of specific actions. They will also support in implementation of quantitative models of cost and schedule, including quantitative risk analysis tools. Responsibilities Risk Management Policy and Procedures: Adheres to all project/risk management plans and all Alstom procedures in force Identify Project members to understand their training requirements in the discipline of Risk Management and schedule regular seminars and training courses Risk Identification and backssment: Participate in necessary risk identification ‘brainstorming’ sessions with Risk/Project Managers Assist in the coordination of risk inputs that includes identification and backssment of risks with different sub-systems Follow up project team members to finalize their backssment on time based on project needs Risk Mitigation and Monitoring: Help Risk Manager/Risk owners for organizing risk workshops and risk reviews Participate in the implementation of risk management tools for quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis Responsible for tracking and monitoring progress on risks and risk mitigation actions according.
