Purpose: Drive the development and maintenance of data-driven solutions and services in support of operations, analytics, risk management, finance, and treasury functions data requirements. Directly contribute to the creation and maintenance of mastered datasets for Global Banking and Markets (GBM) trades, transactions and reference data, the support and development of the domain’s data services, and the management of data quality and availability of data. Provide capital markets product subject matter expertise, with a focus on securities reference and market data. Collaborate with technology partners to enhance the capabilities. Analyze data sourcing needs, data mapping, and transformation to meet business requirements. Accountabilities: Responsible for the support of trade and transactions data services on GBM Data Platform, including Trade Central support. Perform data analysis on GBM streaming and batch platforms. Expertise and experience in query language for relational databases and document/JSON are definitive requirements. Facilitate GBM trades and transactions data sourcing needs for internal data consumers such as GBM, Finance, Risk Management, Treasury, and other corporate functions. Document definitions and contextual understanding, and act as a subject matter expert to clients. Provide advice and guidance on data mapping and transformation to meet business requirements. Support data initiatives as assigned. Understands and supports leading practices related to data management. Has experience with capital markets products and business processes. Contributes to the governance of trade and transactions domain. Assist in the development of the trade and transactions data domain, and business adoption of data governance activities.
