The Team Scotiabank’s Information Security & Control (IS&C)’s Cyber Security Red Team has global accountability and is highly supportive of the Bank’s business, enabling execution of the Bank’s strategies, operations, and services, while ensuring that appropriate application and cyber security practices are adhered to. This function provides core competency in proactively detecting application and network vulnerabilities, backss cyber resiliency while working with the appropriate teams in instituting appropriate controls to mitigate risks, specifically as it pertains to system vulnerabilities and threats. The role: In this role, reporting to the Director of the Cyber Security Red Team (CSRT), you will manage and develop CSRT’s internal technical resources, operational technology, and capability roadmap. You will be responsible for coordinating technical resourcing with the CSRT’s service management team to deliver services in support of the CSRT global mandate, coordinate and enhance red team services execution and partnerships with Global Cyber Security Services. Is this role right for you? In this role you will: Provide leadership, skill development, and coaching to internal staff and global resources. Collaborate with IS&C Cyber Security Operations Centre, Cyber Automation, and Threat Intelligence teams to enhance operational processes and cyber resiliency. Maintain currency with industry trends, exploits, and emerging threats. Research new and emerging legislation, industry best practices, and ensure alignment of backssment methodology with industry frameworks. Oversee relationship management and collaboration with third-party partners. Be in charge responsible for of timely and accurate reporting of all findings to the appropriate teams, different levels of management and business risk owners. Be Have the responsibility.
