Summary Are you an experienced skidsteer operator looking to make a change? Do you want to be apart of a company who values your contributions and can provide opportunities to learn and grow? If so, our Highway division is hiring a Skidsteer Operator for the 2023 construction season. Key Responsibilities Operate Bobcat Skid Steer to move materials around the job site including to scrape the ground to gather excess asphalt and dump asphalt in designated areas. Perform regular equipment maintenance and inspections. Assist with labour tasks as needed while the Skid Steer is not required. Use Bobcat to create dig outs as needed. Perform any site preparation and leveling with the Bobcat prior to paving. Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company’s Code of Ethics. Work in a safe, responsible manner to not intentionally or unintentionally injure oneself, or endanger the wellbeing of others. Other operating and labour related duties as required. Qualifications High School Diploma or G. E. D. preferred Class 5 Drivers License preferred Minimum 3-5 years road construction experience Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating a skidsteer Working Conditions Schedule of 24 working days, with 4 days off and up to 14 hours per day (weather dependent).
