Looking for an experienced individual who wants to work in small and heavy engine repair and maintenance shop Gur Truck and Trailer Repair. In this company, we tend to provide a better job stability and team focus for the professional advancements of our employees and company. With continuous growth of our business, we are in a need of an experienced and energetic individual who has the capability to handle the repair jobs of small engines. Job Type• Full-time, Permanent (35-40hrs/week) Salary• $27.50 per hour (paid bi-weekly) Education• Completion of secondary school is required Qualifications & Experience• At least 2 years of experience in the same trade is required Duties and responsibilities• Documenting the records of the work performed, including the diagnosis, repairs made, parts used, and any recommendations for further maintenance or repairs. • Identifying the root causes of engine malfunctions by using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and customer descriptions• Identifying worn-out or damaged components in the equipment and replacing them with new parts. • Using variety of tools including screwdrivers, wrenches, compression gauges, ammeters, and voltmeters for many common tasks• Changing engine oil and filters to maintain proper lubrication and prevent excessive wear and tear on engine components• Advising customers on proper maintenance schedules, including routine inspections, oil changes, filter replacements etc. • Conducting thorough tests and inspections after repairs to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly and that all issues have been resolved• Updating customers about the engine's problems, explaining the repair process and assist in providing cost estimates• Keeping the work area clean, organized, and well-maintained, including tools, equipment, and supplies Personal Suitability• Reliability, Organized and ability to multitask. • Able to comprehend written and verbal instruction• Physically able to complete.
