KCS heating Ltd. located at 16988 22 Ave, Surrey BC V3Z9Z3 with postal address Ave, Surrey, BC, V4A 2H9 has a vacancy for 2 full time and permanent HVAC Mechanics. Work sites throughout lower mainland and Okanagan Valley. Duties • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings or other specifications• Measure and lay out reference points for installation• Assemble and install refrigeration and air conditioning components such as motors, controls, gauges, valves, circulating pumps, condensers, humidifiers, evaporators and compressors using hand and power tools• Measure and cut piping, and connect piping using welding and brazing equipment• Install, troubleshoot and overhaul entire heating, ventilation, air handling, refrigeration • Start-up system and test for leaks using testing devices• Recharge system with refrigerant, check and test regulators, calibrate system and perform routine maintenance or servicing• Repair and replace parts and components for entire refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation or heat pump systems• English is the language at the workplace Education• Qualified journeyman from any jurisdiction in HVAC or a combination of over five years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college or industry courses in refrigeration and air conditioning repair • Must be eligible to challenge the Inter Provincial Red Seal as an HVAC Tech Wage • $35 per hour for 40 hours a week Benefits • Extended medical plan with Sunlife (50%/50%)• Dental• Disability• Statutory holidays• Vacation pay (4%)• 5 days sick leave per year Hours • Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 3:30am with 30min unpaid lunch break How to apply Please send your resume, references, and copies of certificates Please be advised that only those applicants who meet the specific job requirements stated above (eligibility should be clearly stated in a resume) will be considered for this position.
