Backwoods Security is seeking an Experienced Event Security Secondary Supervisor for work in Edmonton and surrounding areas. Shifts: Must be willing and able to work weekends, and stat holidays. Guards must have reliable transportation. Requirements Must be willing to work weekends, and stat holiday’s. Provide 3 year personal Drivers Abstract. Must have reliable means of transportation. Be willing to work out of town if requested. strong critical thinking skills. 1-3 years of Security Industry Experience 1 year minimum of Supervision or Management Experience in related field. Must be able to work independently. Must be physically able to walk for long distances and remain standing for long periods of time. Provide 2-3 references from previous Direct Supervisors or Managers. Responsibilities Meet Primary Supervisor onsite prior to event start time. Maintain a safe and secure environment. Inspect equipment before and after event. Work in a team environment. Resolve issues through verbal deescalation. Conduct pre-shift safety meeting and tool box talk. Maintain presence on event floor, respond to radio calls from Security and Guest Service staff. Tasked with following proper escalation procedures. Ensure that all staff are positioned properly and job scope understood. Ensure Backwoods Management is notified of any incidents and violations. Work in Collaboration with Primary Event Supervisor or Event Manager to ensure operational success. Training and Certifications Required: Valid Alberta Security Guard License (required) Class 5 Driver's License (required) 3-Year Clean Driver's Abstract. Visit ListedBuy for more information.
