Role and Responsibilities: Design, build and maintain backend services according to the development guidelines Collaborate with your direct peers and different teams on feature design, risk backssment, and delivery timelines Advocate efficacy of development processes, operational excellence, secure development practices, and software quality Skills and Qualifications: Extensive expertise delivering event-driven microservices with a focus on security, the efficiency of development effort, maintainability, and resilience Sound knowledge of strongly typed programming languages, such as Golang or Java Experience with relational databases, such as Postgres Understanding of canonical RESTful API principles Ability to lay the path from legacy systems to target architecture Capability of working independently and delivering on commitments Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills Preferred Qualifications: Experience delivering software written in Golang is a pluinteractionperience with regulated environments, such as Fin Tech, Insur Tech, or Med Tech You are comfortable working with advanced data structures & algorithms and their trade-offs in time, space and engineering effort Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud environment is a pluinteractionperience with messaging brokers, such as Kafka Experience with in-memory datastores, such as Redis If interested, please get in touch via contact details provided or click “Apply” to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV.
