Job Responsibilities. • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs, • Portion and wrap foods, Package take-out food, Stock refrigerators and salad bars. • Wash, peel and cut vegetables and fruit, Clean and sanitize kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas, The position is entitled to benefits as per the BC Employment standards act. As per the collective agreement, 4% Vacation pay of gross salary will be paid each pay period with 10 days of unpaid vacation annually, or the option to choose 10 days of paid vacation annually with no vacation pay on each pay period. Employment Requirements: • Secondary education usually required. • On the job-training is provided. Other Requirements The candidate must be legally entitled to work in Canada.
