Job Description Endoscopy Decontamination Technician Buckshaw Hospital, Chorley Full-Time, 37.5 hours We are looking for an experienced Decontamination Technician to join our busy unit in delivering a professional and efficient sterilisation service to our Endoscopy Service. This is a demanding role requiring professionalism, commitment as well as a good sense of humour. You will be meticulous with attention to detail and must be able to demonstrate the following: Previous experience working in a Sterile Supplies Unit is essential Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines Good written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business, which could include, evenings and weekends TVQ / NVQ Level 1 and 2 in Decontamination and Membership of IDSc would be desirable.
