Our company is currently looking for a Journeyman Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. A sprinkler fitter is responsible for layout, install, repair, modify, inspect, test and maintain fire protection systems in a variety of buildings and settings. Job Duties/Responsibilities Layout, create material lists, fabricate and installation. Cut, thread and groove pipe. Read and understand drawings and blueprints. Need to ensure that the pipes are installed in accordance to blueprints and instructions. Knowledge and understanding of all codes and standards, and how they are implemented. Maintain knowledge of current industry standards and new technologies Must be able to problem-solve when issues arise in a project. Need to be able to fix pipes together correctly and accurately. Test piping systems for leaks and read gauges. Climbing ladders and scaffold and the ability to work more than 40 feet from the floor.
