Job Title: Hairdresser Location: St Helens, Merseyside Salary: £13.49 per Hour Grade 4 - 30 hours per week £21,231.84 per annum Grade 4 - 15 hours per week £10,615.92 per annum Job type: Full time & Part time positions available, Permanent Working Hours: Two positions are available, Full Time (30 Hours Per Week) & Part Time (15 Hours Per Week)Closing date for applications: Friday 8th September 2023About the Company: Pilkington Retirement Services Limited provides a welfare programme of services to the retirees of Pilkington Group Limited. About the Role: Applications are invited for the position of Hairdresser to provide a hairdressing service to beneficiaries of Pilkington Family Trust, both male and female, in their own homes and at our short-term respite care home. Key Responsibilities: To provide a hairdressing services to beneficiaries of Pilkington Family Trust To manage own appointment system to ensure beneficiaries are given equal opportunity to use the service To maintain a record of each beneficiary visited To maintain adequate hairdressing stock To collect payment from beneficiaries and reconcile money before paying into accounts department To keep a record of business miles to allow an accurate claim for expenses to be submitted each month To report any concerns about a beneficiary to the Services Co-ordinator About you: Good level of education up to GCSE standard Minimum of NVQ Level II in Hairdressing or equivalent qualification At least 2 years' experience in hairdressing Must be able to organise and prioritise own work Good time management skillinteractioncellent communication/interpersonal skills Caring, compassionate nature and a good understanding of the needs of older people Benefits: Job related training and attractive terms and conditions Opportunity to contribute to the Pilkington Group Personal Pension Plan Additional Information: Applicants must hold a current full clean driving licence and be a car owner.
