Principal Product Safety Engineer Our client is a leading manufacturer in the Maritime sector, dedicated to producing the highest quality products to some of the most prestigious clientele. They are looking for a Principal Product Safety Engineer to their support team. With no day ever being the same the Principal Product Safety Engineer role offers genuine long: term progression and career development within a first: class manufacturing environment. Role and Responsibilities: You will be supporting the assurance cases of all in: service product variants, along with the test and support equipment used during the development, servicing and maintenance of the products. Ensure that safety is an fundamental part of the design process and full product lifecycle. Ensuring that the standards of Product Safety defined by statutory, business and customer requirements are met. Create, maintain and amend all technical reports. Liaise with all relevant bodies and stakeholders. Knowledge, Skills and Experience: Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering/Systems/Safety discipline Successful track record of delivering a Product Safety Management System within a complex environment Be Ship Safety and Environmental Management Training Experience working to Def Stan and , COSHH and BS EN 61508 Package and Benefits: Up to GBP55,800 dependent on experience 25 Days Holiday + 8 days Bank Holiday, bonus and share schemes, Hybrid working options.
