Job Type: Permanent/Full: time, to be worked over a 4.5 day week; Monday to Thursday 08:00 : 16:45 and Friday 08:00 : 12:30. The Role: Chemring Countermeasures have an exciting opportunity for a Test House Engineer position in their well: established, UKAS accredited, Test House team with. You will have the opportunity to work in a busy team supporting a business that supplies defence products to a variety of world: leading companies. Chemring Countermeasures is looking for a motivated individual who can work well individually and in a team environment. Knowledge of Climatic testing and Vibration testing would be beneficial, however extensive training will be provided. Engineers from a Quality/Product Development background with an understanding of Quality systems and Product development processes will be considered. The position is a hands: on role, applicants are to have mechanical sympathy and not be afraid to get their hands dirty. Responsibilities of the role will include, but not limited to: Responsible for the conduct of assigned environmental test programs for internal or external customers through to compilation of final test report.
