Closing Date: August 29, 2023 Reporting to the Supervisor, Maintenance Execution, the Senior, Maintenance Specialist is responsible for implementing and supporting best practices in maintenance at Teck’s mining operations. The position will specifically focus on work control, planning and scheduling continuous improvement activities to achieve sustainable long-term objectives. This position will suit experts in the field of maintenance who are driven to make lasting organization-wide impacts. The recipe for success in this role is a driven individual with strong change management skills, a solid understanding of maintenance principles to improve work control, planning and scheduling practices that follow through to successful work execution. An individual is meticulous in their work and supports a strong safety culture. An individual who is passionate about what they do, and steadfast in pursuing the end goal. Most importantly, we are looking for an individual who can effectively communicate and engage maintenance leaders to drive change.
