Head Chef – Monday to Friday – Prestigious Venue Salary: £50,000 Location: London We are looking for a highly talented Head Chef to head up this prestigious high-end conference and event venue. We are looking for someone to help cultivate our menus and bring their artistic flair and culinary skill to the team. This role is Monday – Friday, occasional weekend event bookings. About the role: A variety of different canape, bowl food events throughout the week, catering for up to 500 people. Occasional evening plated events of up to 300 people. To work with the area manager to develop the menu and create new and exciting dishes. Stock control, ordering and wastage management. Full P&L accountability. Purchasing and menu costing. Running the day-to-day kitchen operation. Scheduling and labour cost control. Fantastic employee benefits. Skills and Experience: Previous experience catering for events/ banqueting preferred. Can – do and enthusiastic attitude. Craft trained. Excellent communication skills. High attention to detail. Well organised. Hard working.
