We are looking for a construction inspector to conduct the following duties: • Examine plans, drawings and site layouts, • Provide information/training to employers, employees and general public, • Inspect construction of building and engineering construction, • Plan, design, develop, implement, and evaluate safety programs, • Ensure compliance to drawings, specifications and building codes, • Ensure electrical and plumbing installations meet government regulation• Enforce steel and concrete installation codes, • Inspect construction of sewer systems and pipelines, • Inspect to ensure that safe working conditions are maintained, • Inspect existing buildings for structural defects and fire hazards, • Inspect and provide reports on condition of new or resale homes Type of inspection• New and existing buildings, • Industrial construction The candidates should be a Canadian citizen or have a Canadian permanent resident or valid Canadian work permit Language: English Farsi (preferred) Screening questions: • Are you available for the advertised start date? • Are you currently legally able to work in Canada? • Are you willing to relocate for this position? • Do you have previous experience in this field of employment? • What is the highest level of study you have completed We are pleased to receive the resume of the eligible candidates.
